Creative: Abranka and Maranari Sketch

Still on vacation till Sunday, so here is another sketch of Abranka and Maranari. Done while being bored and waiting on someone.

The outfit on Abranka is the standard style of Asura general clothing given to players, the outfit Maranari is wearing was made up and is not obtainable in game at all.

I really should not have colored in her nose, the pen was much darker than I thought it was when applied to the paper.. She looks silly now - but there you have it.

Drawn with:
- Ball Point Pen (sketch)
- Fine Tip Sharpie Pen (inking)
- Staedtler Triplus Fineliners (color)

Roleplay: Riddle of the Lost and Found - Part 2

Garrett looked about the wet, slightly flooded beach where the risen were pulling themselves out from the sand and coming from the nearby trees to the east. He was dazed, wondering how he had even managed to get through.

He moved over to where Maranari was checking to see if she was alive. After confirming that she was he sat with her in his arms cradled in a way keeping her warm and hoping to avoid alerting the nearby Risen. Maranari breathed slowly shivering in his arms while Garrett was plotting out whether or not to stay where they were, or to head to the Asuran structure that was under siege by the Risen. He opted for the building, it was safer than being ambushed by a wandering group.

Picking Maranari up off his lap he made a dash for the Asuran structure attempting to shield both himself and Maranari from any attacks from the offense or defense. It was a struggle as he was just as tired as ever, but once inside he sat back down safe further back inside the building away from the fighting.

After a short while; Maranari was coming too, Garrett had been speaking into something when she awoke trying to describe where they were. Maranari shifted a bit which caught his attention. She looked up at him clearly confused of the situation looking around to where they were. Garrett asked her where they were but alas - her collar was gone long before this event, she had no way of speaking to him. She paused getting up - wobbly at first to a nearby table seeing if they had anything to write with, and on.

She came back sitting on his lap again realizing she missed the warmth when she got up. She had managed to find a charcoal pencil and some parchment which she placed on her lap and started to sketch some crude drawing trying to explain to Garrett what had happened...

Creative: Sketching

So as of right now I've been on Vacation down in sunny California for a week now (although it's raining right now) just relaxing and enjoying myself.

I'll be updating some of the hanging story arcs remaining and updating things most likely today to get everything caught up. I've missed about 2 weeks of RP between moving and Vacation time, but it's all good. Bruden (a good Norn friend) has been chronicling the other half of the adventures which can be found here: http://ragtagwanderers.enjin.com/forum/m/8484039/viewforum/1853893

There are adventures which happen between and tie into "One Week Later" and "Riddle of the Lost and Found".

I've done a couple of sketches recently of Maranari and Abranka. So I present to you the sketches of the two Asura.

Both of these sketches are on my Deviant Art: http://keiatra.deviantart.com/

Roleplay: Conclusion to One Week Later

Finally; the short conclusion of "One Week Later"

The Conclave had gone silent, had they forgotten about the Asura? No; they had been speaking to Abranka and even he they would soon leave out. They had mentioned they wanted them to be ambasadors for their noble outreach towards other races. What false promises, nothing more than polite courtosy to the two really.

Maranari didn't really care for them to begin with. It was the arrogance in the hair that she disliked, it was the same arrogance as Rata Sum, ironic in it's own way. She thought the Asura and the Nobility of Divinity's Reach would make quite the pair really. One could do all the talking while the other would prove their power and worth. In other words... It could work; Humans and Asura minus the fact the two species were too proud.

Maranari decided she had other things to attend too. Abranka and herself still had much traveling to do; there were several places they still had plotted out and it would take some time to fully explore, and Abranka had been hard at work creating a new collar for her to wear. One that was to help her speak again. It was a simple device with a leather band to go around her neck. It had been tested a couple of times but it felt weird. It made her think and go into long moments of silence; something she had become acustomed too.

She looked about waiting for Abranka, she spotted him heading towards her. It was time to head off and go on their next adventure.
